1. DESIGN BRIEF
The starting point for any project is design, for without a clear vision there can be no meaningful creation. When we take a design brief from our clients we work together with them. We use our experience and expertise to advise them on the issues that relate to safe construction, cost effectiveness and suitability of materials. This way we ensure that the clients’ vision becomes reality. Working together is the key to success.
2. CONFIRMATION
Once the designs and costings are accepted by all parties, everything is set in writing so that no one is left in doubt as to the expected outcome. When the working drawings are signed off and the terms and conditions agreed, purchase orders can be accepted and acknowledged. At this point, materials can be ordered. Design, cost, quality and delivery dates are now clear to all. Everything is on paper, everyone is fully informed and nothing is left to chance.
3. MANUFACTURING
So, there’s more to manufacturing than just making things. This is the third step in the process, and it can’t commence before steps one and two! When everything is agreed, our skilled joiners do what they do best – they manufacture to professional, commercial standards. They do it safely, using modern tools and in a clean, well equipped workshop. They also work constantly to strict schedules because they understand that there is one more stage to come…
4. INSTALLATION
The job is not complete until the product is installed and commissioned and the customer is happy. This final stage requires just as much care and attention as all the others. Punctuality, site safety, perfect finishing, and cleaning up are all vital elements of the process – that’s why the Martina installation team is the same team that made the product in the workshop – a team that takes pride in its work and in the customers’ commendations.
